8-Day Tanzanian Wildlife Heritage Grand Safari
A slower northern week: parks, Olduvai, a crater descent, and lodge nights that are not all identical.
Duration
8 days / 7 nights
Starts in
Arusha
Guiding
Private expert guide
From
$3,890 per person
Highlights
Olduvai Gorge as a planned stop, not a toilet break that happened to have a museum.
Walking where a camp is licensed for it, usually Tarangire or a Serengeti concession.
Serengeti nights placed for resident game as much as for the postcard migration.
Overview
Heritage here means the landscape humans have used: Maasai grazing around Ngorongoro, the gorge where bones turned into a story, and parks that are still working TANAPA country. It is not a lecture tour. It is a safari with better pauses.
Compared with the Migration Explorer, this week is less obsessed with the river and more willing to stay in Seronera when that is the honest wildlife. French-speaking guides are possible if we know at booking, not at the airport.
